HEALING HANDS PROJECT
Our healing handsproject allows certified massage therapist to provide therapeutic massages to parents who are caring for a child receiving treatment.
Massages are provided to parents based on their individual needs. We provide massages at the hospital,Ronald McDonald House or local extended stay locations.

LODGING ASSISTANCE
The Ronald McDonald House or similar extended parent lodging is great for far from home hospital stays. But should a member family's stay become unexpectedly extended, Sophies Heart helps with lodging expenses. We make arrangements directly with the facility to assist our families, taking the worry out of finding lodging.

PARENT TO PARENT HELP
Through our parent matching program, we match parents and caregivers to others in their geographic area who have children with heart defects Hopefully, through parent-matching people can connect, share ideas, and give each other needed support.

FOOD FOR FAMILIES
Families who have a child born with a congenital heart defect will require at least one invasive operation to correct the defect. Many of the parents have to travel out of county or out of state to receive care.
For this reason the Food for Families Program was started as a way to respond to needs expressed by families, caring for their children, who are unable to afford nourishing meals away from home.
